Eastside Huskies Baseball Club:  13 Year Old And 14 Year Old Sandy Koufax League Teams

The Eastside Huskies Baseball Club was founded in 2003 by Brad Peterson, a long time coach and baseball school owner on the eastside.  Brad had formerly run a Koufax program for Thunderbird and Bellevue West Little Leagues.  He decided to reintroduce a Sandy Koufax League for quality Eastside players and their families.  Brad is in his 27th ayear of coaching where he has coached many state tournament and state championship teams. Brad played at the University of Washington and has a degree in Kinesiology.  He also works with the top pitching instructors in the world!m  His mission is to make a positive impact in as many player's lives as possible through baseball.  The Huskies goal is to prepare players to play at a high level in high school as early in the career as possible.

Players chosen to be Huskies during Fall try-outs, participate in a Winter training program at the Brad Peterson Baseball School in Kirkland where they are taught the advanced techniques of hitting and pitching, taught at the major college and professional level.  Huskies are also taught the mental aspects of focus, concentration and relaxation used by top athletes all over the world.  We also train players in the areas of Advanced Goal Setting, Leadership, Self Image Development, Writing Mission Statements, Decision Making and Behavior Modification.

The seaosn runs from approximately the 3rd week of April until the middle of July.  During that time, we play approximately 3 league games during the week and weekends.  Locations of games are primarily in the Puget Sound area and there can be teams from Tacoma to Marysville.  We traditionally play 4-5 tournaments during the season.  This translates a season of 35-50 games.  Most tournaments are local or a short drive.  We do travel to 1 tournament in Oliver, Canada which is North of Wenachee just across the Canadian border.
